BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) -- Birmingham City Councilor Crystal Smitherman is hosting a "Safe Summer Series" event at Railroad Park on Sunday.
This is the final Safe Summer Series concert of the 2024 season, and pastor Mike McClure from Rock City Church will perform live. The concert begins at 5 p.m. and is free to everyone.
"Well they are gonna expect a lot of fun, a lot of energy. Pastor Mike performs at church or at classic, you know the energy is all the way up to here. So it's gonna be great for Magic City Classic gospel concert. And I love that you can literally bring your kids out here, and I am pretty sure that you will enjoy it," said Smitherman
