NORTHPORT, Ala. (WIAT) -- The West Alabama Human Trafficking Task Force and Northport Police Department announced the arrest of a suspect on charges related to alleged child sexual abuse material Wednesday.
According to task force commander Capt. Phil Simpson, investigators searched a residence in the 2600 block of 15th Avenue in Northport on Wednesday morning. They reportedly recovered evidence to charge Casey Kirkman, 34, with two counts of dissemination of child sexual abuse material and eight counts of possession of child sexual abuse material.
Kirkman is being held in the Tuscaloosa County Jail and awaiting bond to be set by a judge.
