Dry and warmer this week

Tonight: Lows tonight will drop into the upper 40s to lower 50s, as we continue to climb out of our cool spell. Skies will be clear and winds will stay light.

Monday: Another beautiful day is in store with highs reaching the upper 70s to lower 80s. The humidity remains low, so it will feel like a pleasantly warm afternoon filled with lots of sunshine.

This Week: There is still no signs of a major pattern change in terms of rainfall. Dry weather is in the forecast through at least the next 7-10 days as we remain in easterly flow over the next several days, keeping our humidity low as temperatures start to return back to the lower to middle 80s every day starting Monday.

A few afternoon clouds return by midweek as a few disturbances pass to our north, swinging a few high clouds our way from time to time. Otherwise, expect sunshine to prevail this week. Overnight lows will also gradually warm back to the lower to middle 50s, quite a few degrees warmer than average for late October in central Alabama.

Long-term forecasts moving into the beginning of November favor warmer than average temperatures and drier than normal weather to continue.
