Weekend: Beautiful weather continues both Saturday and Sunday, featuring cool mornings and mild, pleasant afternoons. Morning lows will range in the upper 30s to middle 40s both mornings. Highs reach the middle 70s Saturday, then warmer Sunday with temperatures near 80.

Football Saturday: The weather will be great for all of the local college teams this weekend. Most are out of town, but Samford will be home with plenty of sunshine and mild temperatures.

Next Week: The warming trend continues through midweek. We're expecting Spring-like weather as highs soar to the low and middle 80s. Otherwise dry with no significant chance for rain over the next seven days.

Tracking the Tropics: Tropical Storm Nadine has formed in The Western Caribbean. Nadine is not a threat to The Gulf of Mexico as it will quickly move west this weekend into Central America.

In the Caribbean, a wave located north of Haiti, The Dominican Republic, and Puerto Rico has a low chance for development over the next week. Otherwise, the tropics are quiet.
