Tonight: the cold front will be along the coast, and northerly winds will continue across Central Alabama. It will be mostly clear, cooler, and breezy. Lows will be in the lower to middle 40s.

Comet Watch: look to the west just after sunset to see Comet 2023 A3 Tsuchinshan ATLAS. It will be just above the horizon. You will be able to see it until around 8 PM.

Tomorrow: Tuesday will be a beautiful day with plenty of sunshine as an area of high pressure builds toward Alabama from the northwest. It will be breezy, and much cooler with high temperatures only in the upper 60s. Tuesday night will be clear and not as breezy. We will be colder with lows ranging from the upper 30s to the lower 40s. If the wind dies down enough patchy frost is possible over northern Alabama.

On Wednesday, the area of high pressure will be north of Alabama. We will have another gorgeous day with sunshine and chilly high temperatures in the upper 50s to lower 60s. Wednesday night will be clear and cold with patchy frost. Lows will range from the lower to upper 30s. You will want a coat!

High pressure will move northeast of Alabama on Thursday and Friday, and this will slowly help to warm us back up with easterly winds. Thursday high temperatures will be in the upper 60s, and Friday will be in the lower 70s with plenty of sunshine.

Weekend Outlook: Fantastic weather will continue all weekend as high pressure sits northeast of Alabama. We will be mostly sunny and warmer with highs in the middle to upper 70s each day. The lows will be in the upper 40s to lower 50s.
