TALLADEGA COUNTY, Ala. (WIAT) -- A Sylacauga man was killed in a crash involving a concrete mixer truck in Talladega County late Friday night, the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports.
James Trussell, 36, was fatally injured when the Sterling LT9522 concrete mixer he was driving left the road, hit a metal post and returned to the road before overturning. The crash happened on Alabama 76 about five miles northeast of Childersburg around 11:05 p.m.
Trussell, who was reportedly not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene. Troopers with the ALEA's Highway Patrol Division are investigating the crash.
