HOOVER, Ala. (WIAT) -- An 81-year-old man who was known to frequent the Riverchase Galleria was laid to rest by community members Wednesday.
Mourners were involved in a funeral procession around the Riverchase Galleria for Ronald Freeze, who was also referred to as "Galleria Man."
When Freeze died in August, the Jefferson County Coroner's Office had trouble finding living relatives. Community members were then inspired to a start a GoFundMe page for his funeral expenses, which raised thousands of dollars.
