BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — Birmingham Police Department learned a second person was injured during a shooting on Wednesday that left a man dead.
According to a press release, detectives learned an additional victim was shot in the 1700 Block of Laurel Avenue SW. They were transported to UAB Hospital by private vehicle with life-threatening injuries.
BPD also revealed the victim pronounced dead at the scene was an adult male, whose identity is pending notification of his next of kin. No one is in custody in connection to this case.
