MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WIAT) -- The Hoover Health Care Authority was awarded a certificate of need Wednesday for a new ambulatory surgical center and diagnostic facility.
Officials said the State Health Planning and Development Agency unanimously approved the certificate. The new establishments will be built in Riverwalk Village, which is planned for development near Riverchase Parkway.
The Hoover Health Care Authority will start the process of selecting a provider for the facilities.
