BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) -- A Woodlawn High School Student was arrested after reportedly calling in a bomb threat to the school, Birmingham police announced.
Woodlawn's school resource officers were alerted of the threat and contacted BPD. A 16-year-old juvenile was taken into custody at the school and confessed to making the bomb threat, according to police.
He was taken to the Jefferson County Youth Detention Center and charged with first-degree making a terrorist threat.
